No Common Name
This species has no common name. The common name of the family Ichneumonidae is iIchneumon wasps, and is applied here for the sake of convenience.

Invasive Species
This wasp in native to Europe and is considered invasive in North America. It was introduced into Quebec in 1938 and it spread rapidly. By 1962, it had been collected as far west as west-central Nebraska.
