Species

American Crow (Corvus brachyrhynchos) is much smaller, about the size of a rock pigeon. The bill is shorter and thinner and there is no tuft of hair on top. In flight the wings are shorter blunt, and splayed; and the tail is broadly rounded. They do not soar when flying. The call is higher-pitched and piercing.
