There are two co-champion jack pines in Minnesota. The first is is on public property near Ash River, in St. Louis County. In 2018 it was measured at 73′ tall and 82″ in circumference (26″ in diameter), with a crown spread of 40′. The first is is on public property near BWCAW, in Lake County. In 2019 it was measured at 63′ tall and 95″ in circumference (30¼″ in diameter), with a crown spread of 35′. |
