High Point

Mission: Climb quarter mile to one of the highest points in Minnesota just ahead of encroaching storm. Enjoy view for 15 seconds before fear of being struck by lightning sends you back down to the car. |
Inspiration Peak Trip |

About
We took the bike to Inspiration Peak October 6th, 2013 and we walked to the top of the peak. The day was overcast and when we got back to the bottom of the hill, the sun came out and the sky was blue. Went to Phelps Mill after we left Inspiration Peak. |

Uploaded on Sep 29, 2011 It's probably one of the last nice weather days we'll have here in Minnesota for a the rest of the year, so we picked up a friend of ours and took off to go hiking up to the second-highest peak in Minnesota -- Inspiration Peak. It's a nice lookout. Not breath-taking if you've hiked in the mountains anywhere, but it's pretty good for MN. We packed our dinner and took it up there with us to eat. The kids loved it and we enjoyed being outside. |
