Cuyuna Country Recreation Area features the finest purpose built mountain bike trails in the Midwest along with having the clearest scuba diving waters in the midwest. This 5,000 acre park has a paved bike trail, camping, hiking and cross country skiing. |

Whooping Crane
Minnesota does not contain a breeding or captive population of Whooping Cranes. It is not a stopover site and is not on the migratory flyway. Nevertheless, a sighting of a Whooping Crane in this park was reported in 1906.
