The trail passes through a prairie where Purple Coneflowers were blooming.

 

New England Asters were also blooming in the prairie.

Join me on a trail Hadley and I found in the past, but now I have the opportunity to hike. The Norwegian Ridge Birding and Hiking Trail has 3 options for length of 1. 2 and 3 mile loops on a self guided bird watching informative trail.

Park in the parking lot of Red's IGA and head east to the trail head map.
