Description

The pale shoulder stripe is wider than the adjacent dark stripe. The eyespots are moderately sized and teardrop-shaped.

The male is mostly blue on abdominal segments 2 through 5.

The female pale areas are pale blue to olive-tan. Abdominal segments 2 through 5 are mostly black. Segments 8 and 9 are usually pale above, sometimes black.
